France
France officially the French Republic France has long
been a global centre of art, science, and philosophy. It hosts the world's fourth-largest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is the leading tourist destination, receiving
around 83 million foreign visitors annually. France has
been a center of Western cultural development for centuries. Many French
artists have been among the most renowned of their time, and France is still
recognized in the world for its rich cultural tradition. The UNESCO inscribed 41 sites
in France on the
World Heritage List.
